Macro Monday

Yesterday Rae and her family and I went to Bernhiam Forest outside of Louisville the weather was perfect. It was in the 70's and low humidity in fact we could almost forget we live in KY in the summer the last couple of days. We all had great time and the only time the kids got a little antsy was when we both started taking Macro shots.

These were the most beautiful color and texture, they look like rose hips but I am not sure. Isn't the color just delectable? Please click on the picture, it is really amazing larger.
Fungus on the fence

I caught this bug taking flight

Too funny those bugs don't care who's around...I actually like the fence fungus the best, very unusual. Great shots.

Love all your macros, but the first one is simply incredible. I was glad you suggested clicking as the large view is terrific!
